The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the city. The room was small but cozy and everything was clean. Another lovely touch is a coffee machine at reception, where you can take a cup of coffee or tea at any time. The only minor inconvenience is the narrow stairs, which might be challenging for people with big suitcases. I was traveling with backpack, so I didn’t experience any issues. This detail is also clearly mentioned here, so it wasn’t a surprise. The staff is exceptional, special thanks to Zee, who truly cares about the guests and ensures their stay is enjoyable. Highly recommend and will definitely come back 🫶🏼

the hotel is located really close to the central station and its really helpful to travel at that area, especially when there is a lot to do in that area or even to reach different areas by foot (5 minutes or so). the beds are comfortable, the shower has really hot water and comes with soap and shampoo

The location is amazing and is really a short walk from the main train station. Checking in was super simple and the staff was friendly. Room was very nice, bathroom clean and spacious (caution as the bathroom is half a step up from the floor...). And again, the location is amazing, no matter if for the closeness of Centraal or for it's central location amidst restaurants, shops and coffeeshops

Location is bang on. You are on Damrak which is one of the busiest streets so it can be noisy until late. Brilliant place to stay for groups of friends! Highly recommend 👍

Location is amazing, everything is nearby, in the heart of the city centre, metro and train station is 10 minute walk away. Room was enough for 3 days, towels and stuff is there, after 1 night they bringed us new towels. Free coffee downstairs, which is good because in city centre coffee costs more than 3€. Eqsy to remember location of the place as its next to the frites shop with bright yellow logo and easy to remember by seeing the huge casino sign nearby.

The room was incredibly clean with private bathroom. Wasn't a big room but for the price I couldn't complain. It was exactly what we needed as it's a few minutes walk from the train station in Amsterdam central. Staff were incredibly kind and very helpful

Hotel Damrak wins with it’s perfect location right in the main street in Amsterdam - Damrak Street. You go out of the hotel and that’s where your adventure starts. You have almost everything important in Amsterdam in walking distance. Museums, exhibitions, monuments, Red Light District, restaurants, pubs, shops, party areas… Hotel has a couple of floors with narrow corridors and steep stairs but for us it wasn’t a big deal. The room was on the highest floor and had city center view. We had our bed sheets and towels changed after two days of staying. The staff was very nice and helpful. We could leave our baggage before the time of check in which we appreciated a lot. Thanks for having us! :)

I liked the size of the rooms — they were clean and nicely updated. The staff were helpful and welcoming, which made the stay even better. Overall, it’s a nice place for a short stay. However, the location might be a downside for some. The street noise can be quite noticeable, so light sleepers might find it a bit annoying.

Closeness to the centre of town and a short walk from the railway station. Convenient tram stops outside the hotel as well also a good choice of eating venues.
